On Saturday, September 11, 2010, WOW Logistics will host the 3rd Annual Jesse Simpson Memorial Softball Tournament in Jerome, ID. WOW is pleased to announce that this year, all proceeds will support the Idaho Fallen Firefighers Fund.
Last year, on Saturday, October 3, 2009 WOW Logistics hosted the 2nd Annual Jesse Simpson Memorial Charity Softball Tournament in Jerome, Idaho. Along with many great sponsors, WOW Logistics was able to raise nearly $10,000 for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Each year nearly 780,000 children in the US are caught up in the court and child welfare maze and it costs approximately $950/child/year to take care of them.
The tournament, which began in 2008 in remembrance of Jesse Simpson, a WOW Logistics' employee who lost his battle with cancer, has raised over $20,000 for local Idaho charities. WOW would like to take the opportunity to thank all our sponsors, especially Jerome Cheese (Davisco), Glanbia Foods and Hilex. Thank you for your great support!
